Dwindling Readers

I've noticed on my Google Reader that the number of readers that I have is dwindling, so I'm trying to figure out what I can do to keep you all coming back. Are you tired of hearing about my baby girl? Tired of hearing about her sleeping issues? Want me to talk about more funny stuff? More serious stuff? More thought-provoking?

Yes, this blog is for me to record things that baby girl is doing, especially since I generally suck at keeping up her baby book. But I also want readers and, even moreso, I want happy readers.

So tell me, what can I do to keep you? Hell, I'm sure I can follow through on that giveaway and finish answering those questions...I suppose I should do that. I know who won already--I already did the random number generator.

But what keeps you coming back, if you do? Is it just because you know and love me? Or is there something else?

I admit it. I don't come nearly as often as I used to come. It if looks like the post is just a baby update, sometimes I don't come. Its not that I don't care, because I do, its just I am busy and only have time to click on so many blogs in one sitting. I am not sure if you really can remedy that, and I don't think I am counted as a google reader person anyways.

Allison- I think there are two words that will help you get more readers- MORE PICTURES! Most people are visual, (I know I am) and when I see a post without pictures, I normally don't want to read it- doesn't matter who wrote it! Hope you take this the right way! :) Your daughter is just adorable, people want to see her!

Can't remember how I found your blog, but I kept coming back because we're from the same town. And now I love hearing all about baby girl and how she's growing. And please, keep writing about the sleep issues, because I need to feel like I'm not alone! I WOULD love to see pictures of your little one, if you felt comfortable sharing them. :)

Ditto Britt...pictures!! I still come to read, but it would be so much better with some cute pictures of your baby girl.
